Even though it’s been such a heat wave here lately, here’s a sweet little reminder that it gets cold here too.  Only a few months back, in February, I went around my backyard, capturing all things winter wonderland.  Here’s the rustic modern orange birdhouse that I bought from a lady on a farm in Illinois.  No one lives in the birdhouse yet, but I’m hoping some birdies will make it their home.  They could be safely inside, dry and warm, listening to the snow falling on the roof.
