I just stumbled across this image from 2005.  Funny, how when revisiting an image you see it in a different way.  I thought this was an outtake.  Shot with cross processed film…this was not done in Photoshop!  At first glance I felt that the cross processing had oversaturated the details, but I’m taking a fancy to it now. 

That’s one thing about digital shooting that worries me.  We are so quick to delete in camera, without giving it much thought.  Countless times I have gone back to my film archives and found stuff that I had dismissed.  Poppy in the rain in Mendocino was one of them.
