Last month I went to Mexico to second shoot on a wedding for La Dolce Vita Photography. I decided to travel light.  I brought my pro gear for the wedding, but used only my iPhone for personal photos.

Here’s the airport welcome, a giant Corona.  I just had to chuckle when I saw that.

And here’s our vacation condo welcome.  Maybe they thought we were honeymooners?

First requirement:  go to the beach and shake off the airplane hangover.

Then go get a touristy but locally sourced coconut drink:

Then go eat chips, guac and splurge on some sipping tequila.

Then to sleep…rest up for the wedding day!

I met Bill while playing roller hockey.  He was on my team and despite his many penalties that frequently left us short handed (not a suggested hockey game winning strategy), he was funny and witty and drew animations for fun.  After 16 or so years of friendship, I finally got to see him at his job.  He’s a lawyer (with all the usual documents taking over his office…that is like every other law office I’ve seen and tells you how hard lawyers work), but a lawyer who wears Felix the Cat socks and has a figurine on his desk of Andy Warhol as a super hero.  Here he is humoring me and pretending to be examining Exhibit A or something or other.

These are the top secret boxes in Brian’s garage.  I’m not allowed to tell you what’s inside of them.  I actually don’t know what’s inside.  They’re that secret.

Fred sends me sudokus all the way from Los Angeles.  I duly complete them (it’s how I fall asleep at night, kind of like counting sheep only instead I count…numbers…of all things).

As an ever grateful friend, I constructed a customized Fred sign out of sudokus for his birthday.  What more could anyone want for their birthday, right?

Yep, she’s waiting for me, let’s go to the beach already!
