My friends, the oh-so-talented Jenn Lindberg and her sweetie Jim are getting married today.

If they look happy, there’s good reason. They are a great couple!

Carol and her two girls, Sierra and Culleah visited us in Austin.

We took them to Deep Eddy…a super old (1936) swimming pool.

The caterpillar hung out for quite awhile before getting back to his caterpillar life.

Every Monday night we taste-test cheeseburgers with an esteemed group.
This was at Casino El Camino, one of our favorite dive bars with
a fantastic juke box and burgers that take over an hour to arrive at your table.

(3/4 lb patty, roasted serrano chiles, jalapeno cheese and cilantro mayonnaise).

Alina was the first friend I made in Austin and I feel so lucky.
She is super-talented and fun to be with.
We’ve had many great conversations while driving around Texas.
We’ve formed our own little BBQ Brigade (two former vegans…heresy!).
