Today I and many other wedding photographers will arrive in Las Vegas for the annual wedding photographers convention. I guess this is where I’m supposed to say “Woot!!!”

Ok, so maybe I’m not the biggest fan of Las Vegas, but there are aspects of it that do amuse me. Take the billboard below, for instance. How can you resist such temptations? They’ve got me with that $3 hot dog and a beer. Now I don’t have to swing by 7-Eleven on the way to the trade show.

It’s nice to have film friends and such talented ones at that!

Here’s a lovely moment from a wedding reception. High speed black and white film is a nice departure from strobe-driven candids.

I’m pleased to say that I took part in creating Crave Austin, a book featuring women-owned businesses here in Austin. I photographed many businesses including the ones shown here:

Underwear (a boutique selling fine undergarments)

Sabia Apothecary and Spa (a beauty spa)

Solid Gold (a clothing boutique)

Room Fu (an interior design firm)
