Another bit of perfection, the Blended Mocha from Kings Road Cafe in Los Angeles.  Their secret is they use Carnation flavor packets.  I know…that’s just cheating, and guess what?  I still crave and drink these every time I’m in L.A.  Plus, there are so many pretty people who hang out there.  Unemployed actors, models and well, just Angelenos too.  The whole town is good looking and after my initial crisis of self esteem, I got over it and just enjoyed the view.

And, yeah, you’re probably thinking that all I did in L.A. while shooting a cookbook was eat.  I confess, yes, I did.  I ate very well during the cookbook and after too.
