eating in a Paris bistro

I decided to do the classic Paris bistro experience.  No slow food, no new cuisine gastropub farm to table locavore yada yada. Just the traditional French cuisine cultural experience.  La Fontaine de Mars, despite being in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, has rave reviews as the real deal.  No tourists here and that was the truth!  (Except for one American girl from Texas). The waiter politely pushed the table in after I sat down, effectively anchoring me through a full meal.  They brought me salami, bread, insanely yummy butter and wine. I had the daily special of the squid, plus the wee cup of espresso to top it all off.
