Locally sourced, organic gourmet supper club

I had the pleasure of attending a Pitchfork Supper Club dinner here in Austin.  Hosted by Gretchen Von Rochow (aka The Parisian Cowboy) and Chef Patrick Hieger (aka gastroGiant and formerly at La Condesa)

Pitchfork dinners focus serving on locally-sourced foods and purveyors with an emphasis on fresh, organic ingredients, plus bringing together  like-minded folks (people who love food).

Great appetizer:  Chili Poached Peanuts
Chili-Poached-Peanuts

The dinner I attended was outstanding and I’m glad I always bring a camera with me.  I took a few snaps between courses.  The full menu is listed below.  And if you see a ton of links, it’s because so many interesting people are involved in this project.

Special thanks to Jennifer W. from the ArtHouse for having the coolest boots ever.
