You may have heard of the Southern dinner plates called “Meat plus three”.  Basically, you get a meat and three sides such as collard greens, grits and hush puppies.  Etc.  On Oahu, at Keneke’s BBQ, we had a plate lunch, but it was more like “Meat times three”.  I can’t remember what it all was…I think I had pork, pork and pork.  If you look close, you can see a little iceberg lettuce and rice poking out from underneath those huge quantities of meat.

Keneke’s is in Waimanalo on the east side.  Right after we ate, we drove for a bit and came across the prettiest beach with blue blue blue water and lots of people boogie boarding.
