SXSW roundup with Suzi’s iPhone.
Back, by popular demand, Suzi’s SXSW iPhone Round Up.
Got a wristband and used it to sashay into a gazillion shows at SXSW.
Starting on Wednesday night, some standouts were the Muffs, then Thursday with the Spits, the Zeros, the Notekillers, Jim Jones Revue and Chris Pierce.
This series is from Friday, beyond that I have nothing because my iPhone died because I just started Twittering (I’m still in my first week!) and that used up all my camera power. Good info for a photographer to know!
Here I am, wearing my thermal pajamas (it was ridiculously cold…oh, that Texas weather!)
Random street band. They were so serious…super cute.
People started doing orange tequila shots. Sorry about all the orange themed photos…totally unplanned.
Japan Nite at Elysium. Here’s the guitarist from Red Bacteria Vacuum. An all girl metal band.
And, finally, my favorite! Okamoto’s. They were fantastic musicians. The lead singer looked like Mick Jagger. I got showered in his sweat because I was in the front row and he was…energetic. They all were. I have a big crush on these guys!
Thanks for looking at my cruddy iPhone pix. Now back to my day job. I feel like Clark Kent. Mild mannered wedding photographer.

Hey! Thanks for the mention of the Notekillers. My name is ray and I do PR and social marketing for them. Just thought that I’d get in touch and let you know that you can find them and their music on facebook, twitter and purevolume.com/thenotekillers.
Again thanks and if you’d like to get in touch i left my email above.

Loved the Orange theme. Orange is the color of creativity and expansion, clearly demonstrated in your photos, Clarkie!

I love the play list photo. Wish we were there. The orange tequila looks great.

The orange tequila was the tip of the iceberg. There were so many weird, amazing things going on. Wish you could be there! Next year maybe?
