Frontenac, Kansas: bread products for breakfast

November 5th, 2008

Lauren is a friend and diligent follower of my photo-a-day.
She kept asking me when she would be on the blog.
Seeing that she lives in a small town (Frontenac, pop. 2996) in southeast Kansas,
the odds of me having a photo gig there were pretty slim.

So…I made the photo gig happen. I found a reason to be in Kansas City,
which meant I was just a 2 hour drive from Frontenac.
Lauren and her hubby Kenny showed me so many cool Kansas things.
There were just too much stuff to see. I guess that means another visit!
For now…enjoy 2 whole weeks of Kansas scenes.

Here’s Lauren and I enjoying our breakfast of bread products at Otto’s Cafe.

The Aladdin in Kansas City. They made an elephant out of towels.
I couldn’t bear to dismantle it, so I used hand towels to dry off.
