Jennifer and Nate, married at Riven Rock Ranch in Comfort, Texas.
What better place to get married than in a town called Comfort? That’s just the sort of cool detail I expect from Jenn and Nate. They got married at Riven Rock Ranch with one crazy beautiful sunset, accompanied by many, many wonderful toasts. They even toasted the sunset!
Some of my favorite details:
Rocking chairs, tamales, lavendar.
The placecards were hanging from a window frame from Jenn’s great-grandparents’ home in Buckholts, Texas, c. 1907.
The bridesmaids wore happy yellow.
Jenn and Nate brought along Sprout their dog all the way from Chicago to be ringbearer.
Everyone chowed down on yummy a TexMex dinner by My Own Chef catering.
A qulit made by Jenn’s grandmother was a great photo backdrop.
Instead of cake, there were three kinds of pie. And a lot of beer to wash it down.
A big thank you to Tricia at Viridian Design Studio for bringing it all together and providing those lovely flowers, Iceland Poppies and Rununculus
Check out their engagement shoot from last December in (brrrrrr) Chicago. Their wedding day was definitely a tad bit warmer!
