white and gold wedding on Offbeat Bride

Offbeat Bride is featuring a white and gold wedding that we photographed in Houston.  Suni, the bride, told me that she wanted everything to be white and gold, including having her bridesmaids wearing white and getting henna done that would then look super vibrant against the white dresses.  Chris, the groom, is Chinese, so there were gold origami cranes hanging next to the white chandeliers of the ceiling of the all white conservatory. Chris also hit a homerun with his wedding gift to Suni:  a vintage Coco Chanel brooch to wear on her column dress from Bhldn.  The mehndi was at the quirky and fun Hotel ZaZa, with the girls staying overnight and then getting ready there too.  The reception turned into a huge dancefest, with treats by Momofuku Milk Bar, plus fortune cookies and tequila shots.
